Description
In the second edition of Kinesiology for Occupational Therapy, Dr. Melinda Rybski elaborates on the theoretical framework essential for comprehending the kinematics and kinetics associated with normal human physiological movement. Each joint is evaluated regarding musculoskeletal functionality, potential movements, and a general overview of possible pathologies that could arise.
Subsequent sections of this edition focus on the identification of typical movement behaviors, along with strategies and adaptations for individuals experiencing movement difficulties, using theoretical concepts tied to biomechanical and rehabilitation reference points.
Features
- Interactive activities that connect theoretical concepts to practical case studies.
- Goal objectives and theoretical principles corresponding to the discussed reference frameworks.
