Litt’s drug eruptions and reactions manual

Description

Now entering its 18th edition, Litt’s Drug Eruptions and Reactions Manual (D.E.R.M.) serves as an essential resource for understanding drug eruptions, adverse reactions, and significant drug-drug interactions associated with over 1,000 medications. This updated guide is a curated compilation from the continuously updated companion website http://www.drugeruptiondata.com. The book is organized systematically to catalog adverse reactions and includes thorough profiles of the drugs listed, arranged in alphabetical order.

For nearly two decades, dermatologists and medical professionals have relied on this comprehensive manual. This latest edition has been refined from its predecessor to deliver the most pertinent information for fast clinical reference. Key categories of reference include trade names, half-life, interactions, pregnancy considerations, additional lists of significant reactions, and the drugs responsible for them, along with a dossier of trade names, synonyms, and generic equivalents.

With over 35,000 entries detailing adverse reactions, drug eruptions, and skin reaction patterns, this manual encompasses both prescription and over-the-counter drugs, as well as biologics and dietary supplements. Litt’s D.E.R.M. also highlights the number of peer-reviewed references for reaction listings, emphasizing clinically important and potentially serious drug-drug interactions.
